My First Week Learning to Sketch and Draw

My first week learning to sketch and draw includes trying out a baby face.  I also started to learn the contour of male and female faces.

This is the face of one lecturer on You Tube.  I started drawing her face while lecturing, but I was not able to draw her eyeglasses.

Learning to draw female eyes

I am fascinated with the human eyes. So, I am trying the female eyes because of their thick lashes.

Learning to draw at One Point Perspective

I just copied what I saw.  This is done freehand.  I will try other higher perspective.

In the meantime, I want to try all sorts of drawing until I find what I really want and comfortable with to draw.

Learning to sketch other shapes

Here, I am trying other shapes to draw.  I even tried the candle in front me.

Not bad for a beginner, eh?

My First Day Learning to Sketch and Draw

Instead of enrolling in a real face to face class, I am trying to learn how to sketch and draw through video classes courtesy of You Tube. I found a two or three classes that I like and started to follow their lectures.

After watching and listening to the first video I found, the next day I purchased my drawing pencils that I found from the supermarket. Now, I understand the meaning of different types of pencils like H, HB, HB2, HB3 and so on.  Drawings below are my first try in sketching spheres.
